Six months is enough to prepare for the Prelims if you are consistent. Here is a simple plan to adapt.

Months 1 and 2: Build the base

Cover history, geography and polity using NCERT and one standard book. Read Bihar topics alongside.

Months 3 and 4: Complete the syllabus

Finish economy, science, environment and Bihar special. Start current affairs notes and solve topic-wise PYQs.

Month 5: Revise and test

Revise all notes once. Take two mock tests every week and fix weak areas.

Month 6: Final push

Take full-length mocks, revise error logs and current affairs, and avoid new books.

A sample daily schedule

  • 3 hours: new topic
  • 1 hour: revision
  • 1 hour: current affairs
  • 1 hour: practice questions
