How to Solve BPSC Previous Year Papers the Right Way
Table of Contents
Previous year question papers (PYQs) are the best free resource for BPSC. But solving them badly wastes their value.
Step 1: Analyse before you solve
Go through the last few papers and count how many questions came from each subject. This shows where to invest your time.
Step 2: Solve under exam conditions
Set a timer, sit without notes, and attempt the whole paper. This builds speed and stamina.
Step 3: Maintain an error log
- Write every wrong question and the correct answer.
- Note why you got it wrong: concept gap, silly mistake or guess.
- Revise the log every week.
Step 4: Study the options
Read the wrong options too. The commission often repeats concepts with a changed twist, so understanding why an option is wrong helps in the next paper.
Official question booklets are available on the BPSC website, and we list them in the PYQ section of this site.
